One that is accepted and reaches production, from any channel: your storefront, a team store, a connected store, the phone or a portal. Each buyer order in a team-store run counts as one. Quotes, samples and amendments do not count, and your sites and stores are never metered.
At your first accepted order, not at sign-up. Take as long as you need to set up. Orders during the 14 days are counted but not billed, and no card is needed to start.
Nothing stops. You get an alert at 80% and at 100% of your included orders, and the extra orders appear on your next invoice at your plan's rate.
Each plan is made for up to so many orders a month: 300 on Starter, 1,500 on Growth and 5,000 on Network. We never refuse an order past it. If you are over it two months running, we move you up a plan from the month after, and tell you first, because the bigger plan's included orders cost you less at that volume. Past Network, we agree Enterprise terms with you.
Yes, once a quarter, from the next period. The features are the same on both. Your billing page always shows what the other model would have cost you.

Migration is quoted per shop, because the size and age of your store decide the work. You agree the quote first, and it is billed once on your next invoice.
Monthly plans cancel any time, from the end of the month. If you leave, your workspace stays read-only for 90 days with a full export, and is then erased.
Prices are shown before tax. In the UK, VAT is added at 20% on your invoice; elsewhere your local sales tax, VAT or GST is added as the law of your country requires, and reverse charge applies to a valid business VAT number where it should.
On Network and Enterprise, yes, with a purchase order. Starter and Growth are paid by card.
